Emmet Cohen Trio Miami Gardens Concert reviews
Great show, hard to see
We took our grandma and my 6 and 9 year old girls. While sitting comfortably, it would have been a good price if we could have seen everything. The staff was trying to kick everyone out who was in the line for the bathroom because they were ready to open the doors for the next show. The show was a little slow going at first and I think we were all wondering if we'd waisted our money. However, by the end, we were all excited to see what was coming next and thrilled with the acts. The seats in the 2nd row of the rear balcony should almost have a "restricted view" label. They closed the upstairs bathroom after the show so that everyone in the theater had to use the basement bathroom. There is only one elevator (that we were told about) so everyone who had a cane/walker/wheelchair/difficulty with stairs had to wait on that one elevator to make all of it's trips. Between the cloth covered railing and the people in front of us we couldn't see the front part of the stage. Arrive no less than 30 minutes before show time. With the security/metal detector lines, elevator and bathroom lines it took us over 20 minutes to get to our seats. FYI - there is a bathroom on the lowest level and one near the entrance to the rear balcony. While most of the action happens in the middle and back of the stage, there was a lot that happened up front that we missed. It was just over $200 for our 4 tickets.
